The Tigers have shown promising signs in the club's new era after winning their second match in a row against the Dolphins. Down 18-6 during the first half, the Tigers managed to pull off a spirited comeback and won 30-18. "Something is brewing here," caller Dan Ginnane said on Fox League. However there was one injury concern with Jeral Skelton leaving the field immediately with a knee injury during the second half after a regulation tackle attempt on Jamayne Isaako. The new recruit didn't return to the field. The Dolphins started strong with the returning Jack Bostock scoring in the corner but Tigers winger Sunia Turuva hit back immediately. Herbie Farnworth and Kodi Nikorima then extended the lead to put the hosts in a strong position. Right before half time, young hooker Tallyn Da Silva burrowed his way over for the Tigers to keep his side in the hunt at 18-12. After a sloppy 20 minutes to start the second half, Turuva then broke the deadlock for his second in the 63rd minute. The Tigers then pushed ahead with Alex Seyfarth running over the top of Nikorima to score after a crisp pass out of dummy half from Koroisau. Koroisau then put the cherry on top, darting from hooker 15 metres out and stepping Tom Gilbert to seal the victory. "That's captaincy at its best," Kevin Walters said on Fox League. The Tigers will await the decision of one call with Turuva placed on report for a crusher tackle. Next week the Dolphins play the Broncos on Friday night at Suncorp Stadium before the Tigers round off round four against the Warriors on Sunday.
