Mitchell Moses to Stay with Parramatta Eels in $1.25 Million Per Season Deal

According to reports, Mitchell Moses is expected to decline a four-year, $5.2 million deal with the Wests Tigers and remain with the Parramatta Eels. Moses has been a highly sought-after player since becoming a free agent and is poised to give the Eels the news they've been waiting for. Last year, he led the Eels to the Grand Final and has been considered the club's top halfback since Peter Sterling guided them to all four of their premierships. Michael Chammas of The Sydney Morning Herald stated that Moses is "set to end months of speculation over his future and sign a new deal with Parramatta." However, the Eels have not confirmed the agreement. The Tigers were reportedly offering $1.3 million, while the Eels increased their offer to $1.25 million. If he accepts the deal, Moses will join the ranks of the NRL's highest-paid players, including Kalyn Ponga, David Fifita, Ben Hunt, and Daly Cherry-Evans.
