The Dragons are in the headlines again for all the wrong reasons following the Charity Shield in Mudgee. Two players are in strife for a "verbal altercation" - but what should be more of a worry is why the players were still drinking at 6am the morning after a heavy loss. Two years ago players trashed rooms at the Winning Post Motel and so last season, they stayed in Bathurst to avoid a repeat of any drama. But for some reason, Dragons officials let the players back to the same motel at Mudgee last weekend, only for more drama.
