Parramatta Eels winger Blake Ferguson has given the strongest indication yet that his time in the NRL may be coming to an end, revealing a desire to make a switch to rugby union before calling time on his professional sports career.Ferguson, who had one of his best games of the year in Parramatta's win over Newcastle, revealed his desire to make the switch and try his hand at the 15-man game."I'm at that point in my career where I'm looking for opportunities," the 31-year-old said on Triple M's Rush Hour."I haven't made a decision as of yet."Ferguson, who has more than 100 first grade tries and is closing in on 300 games, said that he had ticked off most of his goals in the sport."Rugby is something that I do want to try, I played it as a schoolkid and hopefully one day I can play rugby, but we'll see what happens," he said.
