Unsettled Tiger set to make switch to Sydney rival

David Klemmer has likely played his last game with the Wests Tigers as the Dragons prepare to make a move on the unsettled prop. Klemmer has been reportedly on the outer with the Tigers in recent months, having been overlooked for the club's upcoming trial match against the Eels. But the 30-year-old could be set to don the Red V in 2025 despite having 12 months remaining on his contract, according to The Sydney Morning Herald. Klemmer is set to fill the hole left by Francis Molo at the Dragons after the club confirmed its decision to release him from his contract after initially rejecting his request to leave. "The club's concern has been Frank's welfare," said Dragons chair Andrew Lancaster. "Frank and his manager have been told they can officially talk to other clubs but if they want a release from the contract Frank entered into then the Dragons will require adequate compensation."
