Japan Beckons For a Enforcer

Japanese rugby union clubs are lining up to sign Storm giant Nelson Asofa-Solomona - but they will have to wait. Asofa-Solomona's manager Zen Ginnen confirmed the interest in his client, but declared nothing would happen until his contract at Melbourne is completed at the end of next season. "They are very keen to get him over there but Nelson has told me and told the Storm that he is committed to seeing out his contract," Ginnen told Wide World of Sports. "Then we will re-evaluate things form 2026 and see what he wants to do in the next stage of his career."
