Iconic Tigers duo split as Benji makes tough call

Benji Marshall is already making changes to his staff for next season, with long-time partner in crime Robbie Farah set to leave his role as assistant coach. After another dismal season for the Wests Tigers, the premiership-winning duo will split up at the end of 2024 by mutual agreement. Farah was off-contract at the end of this year and met with Marshall on Wednesday to discuss his future at Concord, when it was made clear that the club needed more experience in its coaching ranks. While the pair have a close relationship, Farah has outside business ventures and sources claim the former NSW and Kangaroos hooker was 'relieved' by the decision. Both men opted not to comment on the matter when contacted. Farah's impending departure isn't expected to impact fellow assistant John Morris, who is likely to remain at the Tigers next year under Marshall as the defence coach.
