Wonderboy Lachlan Galvin could easily have ended up a Sea Eagle and not a Tiger in 2024. Galvin is managed by Isaac Moses - who also manages Manly coach Anthony Seibold - and the Sea Eagles were well aware of the youngster's freakish potential. With Daly Cherry-Evans nearing the end of his illustrious career, Galvin would have been a great acquisition at Brookvale. But talks never really got to first base - thanks to the persistence of former Tigers coach Tim Sheens and recruitment manager Warren McDonnell. The pair convinced Galvin his path to first grade would be a lot quicker at the Tigers - and even though both have since left the club, their prediction proved spot on.
