The poor old Dragons really can't take a trick. Former Raiders centre Brad Morkos - who walked away from the club to play in the Dragons' junior league last month - would have been the ideal replacement for Corey Allan, who was ruled out for the year after a training mishap last week. Talented and quick, 20-year-old centre Morkos decided the Raiders weren't for him and moved into the Dragons' backyard to play for Albion Park in the local league. But the Raiders - in a smart piece of business - released Morkos from his contract on the condition that he can only play for Albion Park and no other NRL club.
