It's taken a few years, but Payne Haas has finally fully realised his potential and is arguably the most devastating forward in rugby league. The giant prop has started the season in spectacular form and has been a major reason behind the Broncos' rise to the top of the ladder.Watching Haas against the Tigers on Saturday night was like a man against little boys.He swatted defenders off like flies when he scored his try and also made 143 metres and five tackle breaks. In previous seasons, Haas has been accused of going missing in some games. But in 2023, Haas has been great in each of the Broncos' five games and has the team on target for a top four spot.
