Crichton spotted making key step towards return

It's the good news story of the year - Sydney Roosters star Angus Crichton has returned to the club on Monday and is closing in on a return to football.Crichton's playing future was in doubt only a few weeks ago when he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and announced he was taking an indefinite break from league.Crichton held talks with Roosters officials late last week and they were obviously positive, with the Blues Origin and Test forward spotted with teammates at training on Monday morning.The star second-rower is now expected to spend a couple of weeks getting his fitness back up to par before returning to the field.When he was first diagnosed, there were fears that Crichton's season - if not his entire career - were in doubt.But after spending several weeks in a mental health facility and finding the right medications to get himself right, Crichton appears set for a comeback within the next few weeks.The news will be a massive boost to the Roosters, as well as the league community in general.Crichton is one of the game's nice guys and news of his condition last month rocked the game.
