A bright 13-year-old from Cessnock Goannas, Tim Della Santa, was devastated recently when he broke his hip, ruling him out of sport for at least 12 months. The youngster was inconsolable - until his coach Keith Gibbs went to Bulldogs training recently and arranged for Josh Addo-Carr and Matt Burton to chat to him via Facetime. They told him to keep his chin up - that this too shall pass - and it worked a treat; the smile on his face was priceless. His family are so grateful to the Doggies duo - a lovely good news story leading into the premiership proper. "He's been through a tough time and it really made him happy for the first time in ages," father Damian told me. "We can't thank the Bulldogs boys enough."
