Remarkable Feat not matched by Greats

Trent Robinson is well aware that the premiership isn't won in July. His Roosters were struggling mid-season and at one stage were in danger of missing out on the big end-of-season games. But Robinson didn't panic, rode through another year of shocking injury tolls, and is coming home strongly in the final straight. It continues a remarkable run by Robinson in his 10 seasons at the Roosters at the business end of the season. Robinson will now finish with six or more wins from the last eight regular seasons fixtures for the ninth time in his 10 seasons at the club. That's a record Craig Bellamy, Wayne Bennett and just about any other coach in the game's history couldn't match - and little wonder that the Roosters always seem to be up there when the whips are cracking.
