A two-week break has proved a blessing for rookie Sam Walker as the Sydney Roosters take on Melbourne to try to keep in touch with the NRL top four. Ahead of their relocated Newcastle match on Thursday night, the Roosters are four points adrift of the top four with the Storm flying high as competition leaders. After booting the Roosters to a last-ditch win over Gold Coast, the 19-year-old sat out their heavy loss to Penrith with a shoulder injury, and Robinson said he was better for the time out. "The two weeks off was a good benefit after the Gold Coast game," Robinson said on Tuesday. "He's been running around without a coloured bib on that says he can't do contact and that's always a big week for players when they come out of that." "I don't think we're a team that have struggled in big games but you're right we haven't nailed that this year against those teams," he said. "We've had our challenges this year but we believe in what we can produce and we've got to go and prove that. "People questioning our quality will drive us."
