Reynolds set to join Broncos on three-year deal

Adam Reynolds' contract standoff appears to be over, with the South Sydney veteran set to take a three-year deal with the Brisbane Broncos. The 30-year-old had been heavily chased by the Cronulla Sharks and was given a deadline today to inform the club of his decision. According to Nine News rugby league reporter Danny Weidler, Reynolds will instead head north on a multi-year deal with the Broncos. "Adam Reynolds has made his mind up to go to Brisbane," Weidler tweeted. "Three-year deal. Plenty of details to be sorted. The intention is there to be a Bronco but nothing signed off on." Contract negotiations between South Sydney and their halfback became one of the biggest stories in the game before the season had even started after it was revealed the Rabbitohs wouldn't offer him a longer deal. Since making his debut for the Rabbitohs in 2012, the local junior has played 214 first grade games and has captained the club.
