The elephant in the room at the Sea Eagles has been exposed, with the side struggling since Daly Cherry-Evans' dramatic announcement that he would be leaving in 2026. Manly have gone from title contenders to battlers, losing three of four games since DCE's declaration. I've been told that several of the club's young players are disillusioned following their inspirational skipper's decision and Manly are playing like a team in crisis. Head coach Anthony Seibold has been left with a tricky situation to manage with the season still in its early stages and players questioning what the future holds.
