The Dragons are going to have to fight hard to retain one of their most promising up-and-comers. Finau Latu, a powerful lock, is off contract at the end of the season and can negotiate with rival clubs after round six of the NSW Cup. The 19- year-old played for the Australian Schoolboys in 2023 and last season, he helped the Dragons break a 32-year SG Ball drought. "Finau is a great kid and clubs are lining up for a chance to talk to him," his manager Mick Chebi told Wide World of Sports.
