Son of a gun emerges through titans ranks

Remember former Kiwi international and Bulldogs, Magpies, Roosters, Rabbitohs and Panthers winger Jason Williams? He was a fine player with a knack for scoring tries back in the 1980s and '90s and his son looks set to follow in his footsteps. Ryder Williams, a talented five-eighth, is only 18 but has broken into the Titans top 30 squad for 2025. The youngster is learning plenty from Des Hasler and Kieran Foran - two blokes who know a thing or two about playing in the halves - and could make his top grade debut at some stage of the season.
