Less than a couple of months ago, Braydon Trindall's career appeared like a train wreck after he faced court for driving under the influence of alcohol, and with an illicit substance also in his system. But now, with that incident behind him and star playmaker Nicho Hynes facing a long rehab for a serious ankle injury, Trindall is the man leading the Sharks' top four charge. And the classy playmaker, who has been in sparkling form, has the full confidence of his teammates as the Sharks chase a second premiership title. "Braydon has really stepped up and taken a leadership role and he's been great for us," back-rower Briton Nikora told Wide World of Sports. "I think a lot of people thought we would struggle without Nicho given the role he plays but Braydon has come of age. "He's been good for my game and I know a lot of the other boys feel the same." The Sharks had the bye last weekend but face a massive challenge against the Cowboys up north on Saturday evening. "They have strike power all over the park and will be a good test for us," Nikora said.
