Don't be surprised if Bulldogs forward Liam Knight ends up in Super League - and soon! In a situation similar to John Bateman's loan move from the Tigers to Warrington last week, Leeds Rhinos have put out a request for Knight - who is struggling to get a run in the top side this season - to join them. The 29-year-old prop has played just two games in the Dogs' NRL team in 2024 - in rounds three and four - so is likely to be given a release. The difference is though, while Bateman is contracted to the Tigers for next season, Knight will be a free agent in October. So if he heads over and makes a go of it, he could earn a long-term deal at the club. Leeds are also believed to be in the hunt for Knights half Jackson Hastings.
