My story last week on former Manly forward Lloyd Perrett taking legal action against the club after being denied water and almost dying from heat stroke at training has caused quite a stir within the game. And Perrett's case gained further traction this week when former Knights and Sea Eagles favourite Akuila Uate spoke to the lawyers handling the case. Uate revealed that he also collapsed during the same torture session and will testify on Perrett's behalf. The lawyers aren't so much after Manly - as all the staff involved are no longer at the club - but the trainers and performance staff who sanctioned the training session that effectively ended Perrett's career… and almost his life.
