'Answer' to life after Hunt

Could a Welsh international halfback be the answer to life after Ben Hunt for the Dragons? Josh Ralph, a 26-year-old journeyman, has been killing it for the Dragons in the NSW Cup with eight try assists in four games to date this season. With Hunt's future at the club always under scrutiny, there are some at the Dragons who feel the Queensland-born player could be the next man up. Ralph has plenty of experience - he's played for Tweed Heads Seagulls, the Knights and Titans in the Holden Cup, Norths and Mounties in the NSW Cup, and Easts Tigers in the Queensland Cup. He also had a season with Toulouse Olympique in France, scoring 14 tries in 20 games. Throw in seven Tests for Wales - his grandmother was Welsh - and you've got a player who has really done the rounds. He may well get his NRL chance when Hunt is off with Queensland during the State of Origin period and the Dragons won't be the only ones watching - Ralph is off contract and getting plenty of interest.
