Any coach will tell you premierships are built on defence, and the Sharks appear to have their D in great shape at this early stage of the season. In a remarkable feat, they have failed to concede a try after the 12th minute in both their games this year. Against the Warriors in round one, they trailled 12-0 after 12 minutes before fighting back to record a gutsy 16-12 win. And against the improving Bulldogs last Friday night, they were 6-0 down in the 12th minute but turned it around to finish convincing 25-6 winners.
