NRL Rule costs Tigers $200k

The NRL's strict rules and regulations governing licensing are likely to cost the Tigers a $200,000 sponsor. A courier company was set to take up the club's sleeve sponsorship but pulled out due to a conflict of interest with another sponsor. But a successful donut company franchise - Franky and Co - agreed to jump in and take up the sleeve sponsorship - only to be told they are likely to be barred due to the NRL's rules. "Apparently once the final jersey is sent to the NRL, it cannot be changed," an insider told. "It's a pity because the club could have got some good coin and now it's not going to happen."
