Former Souths premiership winner, Queensland Origin and England Test forward Chris McQueen announced he was hanging up the boots recently after playing the past four seasons with Huddersfield in Super League. But the 36-year-old's retirement hasn't lasted long. McQueen, a tough second-rower who was a member of the Rabbitohs' grand final winning team 10 years ago, has decided to make a comeback with Brisbane Tigers in the QRL's Hostplus Cup competition. A veteran of over 200 games for the Rabbitohs, Tigers, Titans and Giants, McQueen is a fine leader and will be a great influence on the young up-and-comers at Brisbane Easts.
