Experienced Manly hooker Karl Lawton has had a reprieve at Brookvale after being told he was free to look around for a new home at the end of last season.Lawton is one of several Sea Eagles who were given permission to leave despite still being contracted to the club for next year.But Lawton, aged 27, is back training at Brookvale after recovering from shoulder surgery and seems certain to stay at the club.A versatile forward who can also play in the back row, Lawton has played for three NRL clubs - the Titans, Warriors and Sea Eagles - and played 10 games at Manly last season.
