South Sydney legend Nathan Merritt is on life support in a Sydney hospital, fighting for his life.The record-breaking winger collapsed yesterday and was rushed to hospital in an unresponsive state.It is believed he is on life support with his condition listed as serious.Merritt, 40, was visiting his aunt when he collapsed.He scored 154 tries over 237 games for Souths and is a much-loved one club man.Merritt is rated as one of the greatest Rabbitohs to have ever played for the club with his 219-games for Souths, placing him fourth on the club's list of all-time games.His 154-tries ranks him third on the all-time club try-scorers list.
