The Rabbitohs have signed a strapping front-rower from the Gold Coast region. Jared Johnson, a 19-year-old who stood out for Tweed Seagulls Hastings Deering Colts this year, is versatile - he can also play second row and centre. A powerful youngster with good ball skills, he is of Fijian / Aboriginal heritage and the Rabbitohs beat several clubs to get his signature on a two-year deal.Johnson will start 2024 in the Rabbitohs' Jersey Flegg team but officials will watch his progress with great interest.
