The Knights have poached one of Parramatta's best young talents in hooker Jacob Davis.Davis, 20, started last season in the Flegg Cup but within several months was playing against grown men in the NSW Cup and holding his own.The youngster has signed a one-year development contract but it wouldn't surprise to see him in the Knights' top 30 12 months from now.The Eels were keen to retain Davis but have several up-and-coming hookers in their ranks and knew they would have to let at least one go elsewhere in search of opportunity and when Newcastle approached Davis, they didn't stand in his way.
