Souths' finals hopes could rest with next weekend's game against the Knights, but few Rabbitohs fans would be confident after a woeful performance against the Dragons in Cairns. The Bunnies took the points with a 26-14 win, but it was anything but pretty. The two sides were as bad as each other, committing error after error and struggling for continuity. It was a few touches of class of the Rabbitohs' main men - Latrell Mitchell, Alex Johnston and Cody Walker - that got Souths home. With a bye in the second last round, Souths can secure a finals berth with a win over the in-form Knights, but there will be plenty of hard work to do this week for the players to get the Cairns nightmare out of their systems.
