If you lined up all the halfbacks in the NRL in terms of pure football ability, Drew Hutchison would probably come in among the last few of the 17. But Hutchison is a competitor, a fighter and the type of player every club needs in their ranks. On Saturday night, he played one of the games of his life to keep the Roosters' finals hopes alive as they came from 8-0 down to win 30-14 against the Dolphins. The versatile Hutchison bagged two tries and was instrumental in the fightback, showing the way to some of his much more highly-rated teammates. Capable of playing just about every position in the backline - as well as hooker or backrow - Hutchison has become a key man in the Roosters' late charge and filled the troublesome halfback spot.
