Class players rise to the big occasions and in the battle for the wooden spoon, Dragons centre Zac Lomax got his team over the line with a sparkling display in Wollongong on Thursday night.Lomax was the difference between two struggling teams, scoring a wonderful solo try, showing class to create another for winger Mikaele Ravalawa and running for nearly 200 metres as the Dragons downed the Tigers 18-14.Lomax has earned the ire of Dragons fans for his lack of consistency in recent seasons but in what was in effect the club's biggest game of 2023, he produced the goods and then some.
