The Panthers have lost one of their best rising talents to Cronulla for next season.Liam Ison, the Panthers' Flegg fullback and hero of last year's grand final win, is poised to sign a long-term deal with the Sharks.A member of the NSW Junior Blues squad, Ison grew up supporting the Sharks and sees more opportunity for advancement there.The Panthers were keen to keep the youngster but realise they have to release some players from their massive junior talent pool.
