Roosters insiders have been wondering why Joey Manu has been down on his 2022 form in the first half of this season - but the classy utility came up with the goods when it really mattered at Newcastle.Manu shone in a depleted Roosters side as they scored a courageous - and much-needed - 18-16 win over the Knights.Filling in for captain James Tedesco at fullback, Manu broke the magical 300 running metres mark and scored a vital try in his team's fine win.The Roosters still have a lot of work to do to get back to where they have been in recent years - but Manu's return to form is a big step in the right direction.
