The Dragons has suffered another blow at grassroots level, with the Illawarra Rugby League operations manager resigning after less than a year in the job.Nigel Roy, a rising star in league administration who the Steelers poached from the Northern Territory RL, has quit for family reasons.A former Norths and Steelers centre, Roy took on the job in February of this year. But he has decided to move to south-east Queensland to be with family after only 10 months.Roy refused to criticise the club."It's a family thing, nothing more," he said."I enjoyed my time here and wanted to give the club time to put someone new in the job for next season."The Dragons are a great club and the game is strong in the Illawarra region where I was based."
