Angus Crichton's two-year deal at the Sydney Roosters is finally official after the NRL club confirmed he would stay on until the end of 2024. After months of speculation about his future and fears of a salary cap squeeze, Crichton put pen to paper with the Roosters in August. "I've made no secret of the love I have for the Sydney Roosters," Crichton said in a statement. "This is my home and I'm really excited to have re-committed to the club for the next two years. "I know I have so much more to give and that my best football is in front of me, and I'm looking forward to continuing to play my role for this great club." Since joining the Roosters from Souths in 2018, Crichton has continually been linked to interest from rivals and rugby union. However, he forms a crucial part of the Roosters' pack, as a strike weapon on the edge as well as possessing the flexibility of playing in the middle.
