The Roosters are set to join the hunt for one of league's most wanted men - young Broncos superstar-in-making Selwyn Cobbo. The flying winger is off contract at the end of next season and several rival clubs are already queueing up to talk to him when they are legally allowed to negotiate on November 1.The Roosters have indicated to Cobbo's management that they would be interested in having a chat at that time - and it's not hard to see why.The 19-year-old winger lit up Magic Round with his sizzling hat-trick against Manly and has the priceless combination of speed, skill and power.Brisbane is desperate to lock up Cobbo before November 1 rolls around and is currently working on a huge offer to keep him long term - but will it be enough? The Roosters have lost a lot of talent in the outside backs in recent years with the departure of Latrell Mitchell to Souths and the retirement of the Morris twins.Superstar fullback James Tedesco turns 30 early next year while veteran winger Daniel Tupou is nearing his 31st birthday. The Roosters would doubtless offer Cobbo a long-term deal and with fellow youngster Joseph Suaalii he could give the team plenty of strike power out wide for years to come.
