Ben Hunt moved by Dragons teammate's heartfelt tribute

Dragons young gun Cody Ramsey has paid a heartfelt tribute to inspirational skipper Ben Hunt, saying he'd "follow him off a bridge" after a comeback win over the Warriors. Despite being faced with a half-time deficit, Ramsey and the Dragons burst to life in the second half, scoring two tries to one to run out 24-18 winners at Kogarah. The 22-year-old scored his first try of the season and set up one of Zac Lomax's two tries in an impressive performance in the No.1 jersey. While his on-field play was outstanding, his post-match interview might've been even better, as evidenced by his tribute to Hunt. "I'd follow him off a bridge if he told me to. He's the best captain," Ramsey told. "He does a lot for this club and he's a bloody legend. He played outstanding." Ramsey's skipper was appreciative of his young teammate's kind words. "He's a good fella, Cody. I think he's mad enough to jump off a bridge for anyone," Hunt told. "He's a great fella to have in your side, he's like a little whippet out there, he covers everything flat stick, so we enjoy playing with him. "He's played a couple of games in reserve grade... but he's come in today full of energy and trained flat stick all week. "He brings a bit of a presence there at fullback. You're never in doubt that he's going to clean the kicks up and be there when you need him to." Dragons coach Anthony Griffin was also impressed by Ramsey's performance, suggesting he could be a long-term answer for the No.1 jumper. "He's still very raw, too, but he had that energy today to pick us up and attack, particularly in the second half," Griffin said.
