Coach Craig Bellamy intends sticking by fullback Ryan Papenhuyzen and believes Melbourne can go into the NRL finals without an extra big man on the bench. Bellamy has been urged to start Nicho Hynes for the playoffs after he helped lead Melbourne to the top of the NRL ladder while Papenhuyzen was out battling severe concussion symptoms. Since Papenhuyzen's return the attack has lacked fluidity, with the Storm juggling one in the starting line-up and one off the bench. But Bellamy insists he has room while also accommodating both of his star hookers in Brandon Smith and Harry Grant. He has been shifting Smith to the ruck when Grant comes on. Against Cronulla in their final round clash on Friday night on the Gold Coast, he didn't have to make a call as Hynes was given the nod at five-eighth with Cameron Munster among a swag of players rested.
