Bellamy in awe of most dominant Storm

Not even Craig Bellamy can believe he's coaching Melbourne's most dominant NRL team especially after presiding over previous line-ups that included Cameron Smith, Billy Slater and Cooper Cronk. The Storm's class of 2021 can further etch their names into the record books on Saturday night with a 20th straight win if they beat Parramatta. Currently equal with Eastern Suburbs' winning streak of 19 from 1975, the win would make them the first to claim 20 straight in the game's history. But it's just one of several records they are likely to finish the year with. Melbourne's for-and-against of +499 is also the best in history, while they are also the first team to post individual game scores of 40 points or more 10 times in a season. They also require a combined 63 points from the final two games to break Parramatta's all-time record of 839 from 2001 for the biggest tally in a season. Wins in their final two games will also make for the club's best-ever regular season effort at 22-2, eclipsing what their all-conquering 2007 side achieved. "It's probably the most dominant if you just go on results," Bellamy said.
