Roosters back Radley's aggressive style

Victor Radley's aggressive playing style has been backed by his Sydney Roosters teammates as the NSW Origin hopeful fights to have a five-game ban reduced to two weeks at the NRL judiciary. Radley and incumbent Blues second-rower Angus Crichton will both fight charges that threaten their State of Origin hopes to varying degrees on Tuesday night. On Tuesday morning Roosters teammates James Tedesco and Josh Morris defended their firebrand lock, saying they are frustrated over the potential severity of Radley's punishment. "I don't think he deserves five weeks at all. It's a tough one," Morris said, pointing out inconsistencies in the way the NRL's crackdown on contact with the head is being ruled on the field. "We have players a month ago doing similar things and not even getting a penalty for it and now we've got players getting 10 in the bin and getting two or three weeks. "I don't want Victor to change the way he plays, I love playing alongside Victor. "You know what you're going to get week in and week out. "He may have to change his technique a little bit but I don't want him changing the way he plays, at all."
