Doueihi believes his best position is No.6

Adam Doueihi still believes his best position is five-eighth despite starring in a shock switch to the centres in the Wests Tigers' NRL win on Friday. The 22-year-old has been the best player in a miserable season for the Tigers, with his move to the centres coming as a huge shock last week. While he thinks of himself as a No.6, Doueihi says he will do anything coach Michael Maguire asks to get a win. "I'm most comfortable at six. But I'm not bigger than the team. The roster we've got at the moment, I fit in at centre," he said on Monday. Doueihi first came to the club as a fullback last season but trained all pre-season as a five-eighth to partner Luke Brooks in the halves. "I took it good, I heard what (Maguire) was saying, and once he did explain it to me I did agree with him," Doueihi said. "We've moved on pretty quickly. There's no point me dwelling on it. "It worked well on the weekend and I thought Moses and Brooksy controlled the game really well and built pressure on the opposition, which is what we planned to do. "I'm happy at centre and felt comfortable there every time I've played there."
