Bellamy hints at Papenhuyzen NRL return

Melbourne's red-hot attack could be strengthened further by the return of fullback Ryan Papenhuyzen with coach Craig Bellamy saying he's fit to play in Sunday's clash with St George Illawarra. Papenhuyzen hasn't played since round six and was named in the reserves for the NRL's Magic Round following an AC joint injury earlier in the season. But Bellamy is confident the star fullback could be a late inclusion in the 17 for Sunday's match. "We sort of picked out this week for him to be quite honest, but we're always aware that it's not cut and dry how long it takes individuals to get over certain injuries," Bellamy said on Saturday. "I couldn't see any problems with him playing. "He's trained really well all week and hopefully he'll line up for us." While Dragons coach Anthony Griffin has been quietly pleased with his side's defence, he knows they'll need more against a Melbourne side that's been "running wild". "They are lethal - Penrith are really good defensively and they have a great attacking game at the moment - but the Storm have been running wild the last few weeks. "Last week we were pretty clean, we didn't let in a line break. Even though the previous month we didn't get the results, we've been pretty sound there (in defence)."
