Titans wary of Turbo's return for Manly

Gold Coast are wary of the Tom Trbojevic factor when they play struggling Manly in Mudgee on Saturday. The improving Titans have plenty of reason for confidence, sitting in the top eight with a 3-2 record and facing a Sea Eagles team who are 1-4 after scraping to a much-needed win over the Warriors last week. But coach Justin Holbrook says they're alert to threat for champion fullback Trbojevic, who'll be out to make up for lost time after missing the opening five rounds with a hamstring injury. It will be only Trbojevic's 20th NRL match since the end of 2018 off the back of several injuries. The Sea Eagles have won just nine of 29 games without him since the start of 2019. "Obviously he (Trbojevic) will give them a massive boost, I know how good of a player he is," Holbrook said. "(Our plan is) definitely identifying him - he's without a doubt going to give them a huge lift, they haven't been playing as well as they would've liked." The Titans are looking for more of the sort or performance they gave in hammering Newcastle by 26 points in round five.
